Anyone notice an increase of these? They seem to replace the 'You're invited to:' emails.

That's weird. iv'e recieved some of those aswell. Dunno what they mean though.. Maybe it's a test to see if you would mail back, so they can see you're still using the address.

This way they may calculate the value of you email addy when they sell it.

I've been getting them for a while. I assumed it was like having a catcher account and a baiting account. The lad has a spam account and a scam account and tries to keep them seperate so he doesn't loose mugu in the noise.

Yeah, well basicly the service allows you to notify everybody you know of your brand new shiny yahoo account (for those to dumb know what CC is for). You get to include your personal message (the scam format), along with the standard I have a new email address thing.
